Schiestl-Hollaender, Anne Marie (Annemarie). 1871 Munich – 1942 Worpswede. Girl in blue dress. Oil/plywood, signed upper left A. M. Schiestl-Hollaender, verso inscribed a. titled as well as on label handwritten inscribed with the information: property of the daughter Liselotte, 68 x 54, framed 76,5 x 62,5 cm.- Hollaender studied at the Munich academy with Friedrich Fehl and Angelo Jank and married the painter Albert Schiestl-Arding (1883-1937) in Bremen in 1908. From 1916 they lived together in Worspwede with their daughter Liselotte, born in 1913.
