Crater vase (probably imperial), Russia, c. 1830, attributed to the imperial glass factory in St. Petersburg. Gilt bronze (ormolu), clear glass, partly overlaid in cobalt blue with rich cut decoration, leaves and diamonds, square base with concave rounded corners, round, profiled and ornamented foot, lip rim with gilded mounting with relief decoration, h. 34 cm
