Unidentified portraitist of the 19th c. Portrait of a young man with a blue ribbon. Oil/canvas, illegibly signed lower right, on verso label inscribed Augenarzt Dr. Zander(?) aus Chemnitz, great-great-grandson of Alfred Görling, 66 x 57 cm, framed 86 x 76 cm.- The sitter could be the ophthalmologist Dr. Carl Adolph Zander (1832 Dresden – 1863 Chemnitz), who published ophthalmological books and died young of typhoid fever.
