Wilhelm Focke (1878-1974), an artist working in Bremen, studied at the art academies in Düsseldorf, Munich and Weimar with Ludwig von Hofmann and in Berlin with Arthur Kampf. He cherished friendship with Max Liebermann, Oskar Kokoschka, Max Slevogt and Hans Thoma. Mixed lot of 4 sheets with sketches (1x on both sides): Gouache Junge am Seeufer, Körperstudien, 1 x monogrammed, all with the estate stamp, sheet dimensions to 31 x 23 cm.
