Large table clock, ebonized wood, decorated with gilt bronze, floral motifs and female heads, crowned by a bowl, side sound windows decorated with pierced bronze, set on bird feet, gilt dial with silvered applied chapter ring, black Roman numerals, blackened hands, upper part with indicators for regulating and silencing the striking mechanism, marked on the chapter ring G.H.Osmond Oxford, movement marked ”Winterhalder & Hofmeier” Neustadt, Germany; founded by Hans Winterhalder around 1910 and closed again around 1930, movement with quarter, half and three-quarter strike and the hour on the hour, on 2 gongs in the gong chair, movement with solid hook gear running, 74 x 43 x 30cm
