Alfred Beier-Red (1902-2001), 10 original drawings by the important German caricaturist, he mainly worked for the communist press, such as ”Die Rote Post”, ”Die Rote Fahne” etc., to protect himself from reprisals he usually signed with the pseudonym ”Red”. He was a co-founder of the ”Association of Revolutionary Visual Artists” and from 1946 he worked mainly for ”Neues Deutschland”. His prints and drawings are represented in the German Historical Museum, among others, but are rarely found on the market. Three large ink drawings on the topics ”Hallstein Doctrine”, ”Korean War” and ”Peace Movement”, some with conservation defects, as well as two sheets with mounted drawings ”Streiflichter der Woche” for ”Neues Deutschland” 1947, sheet dimensions up to 63 x 43 cm
