Waki-zashi, Japan, probably circa 1800, blade with pronounced hamon and minimal signs of use, copper habaki, complete sword ornament: bronze tsuba in quatrefoil with openwork: Pair of dragons hunting a flaming pearl; ; fuchi is visually surrounded by gilded dragon in the sea en relief; kashira with dragon in the sea waves gilded en relief; both menuki with esoteric dragon sword with vakjra pommel; kogai with dragon en relief, kozuka with dragon holding a pearl in the sea waves en relief and signature of the sword master; handle lacing probably over ray skin covering(samegawa) minimally defective, scabbard with black lacquered wood with banded effect, l 72cm
