A figural mantel clock, Meissen, pommel swords, mark 1850-1924, 2nd choice, probably designed by Johann Joachim Kaendler and Peter Reinicke, c. 1750, the case decorated in baroque relief and gilt with sculpted flowering branches, a cupid floating to the side, surmounted by a full figure of Flora with a flower basket, the flower in her right hand missing, the figure of Chronos beneath the dial, polychrome painted and ornamentally gilt, tws. chipped, black enamel dial with Roman numerals behind a round glass cover, function not tested, h. 43 cm
