King Ferdinand VI of Spain — Letter of nobility for Juan Antonio Garcia de Malabear with colored coat of arms painting on parchment and handwritten signature of King Ferdinand VI of Spain (1713-1759, king since 1746) and paper-covered wax seal, dated 1756, 40 handwritten pages, altogether somewhat stained. Pages, somewhat stained overall, plus a further volume dated 1756 with 87 handwritten pages on the family history of the same king, who was a citizen of Santa Fee in Mexico and a miner in the silver mines of Guanajuato. These mines provided the Spanish crown with immeasurably high revenues and made the city of Guanajuato the richest city in Mexico, each in gilt-stamped half leather binding, rubbed, 31 x 21 cm
