Jürgen Gustav Haase (1947-2013), German artist who studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig from 1970 to 1975 and emigrated to West Berlin in 1987. His works can be found in the Faber Castell Collection in Nuremberg, the Kupferstichkabinett Berlin, the Museum der Bildenden Künste Leipzig, the Guggenheim Museum New York and the Galerie Junge Kunst in Frankfurt an der Oder. ”Strohrolle”, oil on canvas, signed and dated (20)08 lower right, titled lower left, 110 x 130 cm
