Ernst Mollenhauer (1892-1963), German expressionist from East Prussia. With the support of Corinth, he studied in Königsberg with Richard Pfeiffer and continued his studies after World War I as a master student with Artur Degner. After a brief stay in the U.S., he settled until 1945 in Nidden, where Pechstein and Schmidt-Rottluff were also active.
