Vase, ”View of the Academy Building”, 1st half 19th century, w. France, flattened body with swan handles on the sides, on a rectangular base and four paw feet. Gold ground with a rectangular cartouche on the front, containing a polychrome painted, inscribed view of the Akademie der Künste, Unter den Linden in Berlin, verso a gold-etched bouquet of flowers. Gold rubbed in places, h. 23.5 cm
