Empire Column Pendulum France 1st half 19th century, black marble with few chips, richly decorated with gilt bronze applications of flora and fauna, crowned by a basket with flowers, under the clock drum a pelmet, sun pendulum with woman’s head, white enamel chapter ring with black Roman numerals and blued Breguet hands, in the center a guilloché surface, the rim decorated with patterns, above the columns gilt bowls, French round movement with 1/2 hour disc strike on bell, French circular movement with 1/2 hour disc strike on bell, the clockwork running, the clockwork with 1/2 hour disc strike on bell, French round movement with 1/2 hour disc strike on bell, the clockwork with 1/2 hour disc strike on bell. Circular movement with 1/2 hour disc striking mechanism on bell, movement with pendulum suspension running as a knife edge, 60 x 32 x 10cm
