Sextant, Germany 19th century, beautiful original condition with accessories in matching wooden transport box with brass clasp and carrying handle. In the lid a plaque “C. Plath Hamburg”. Enclosed some documents and newspaper clippings, including a maintenance receipt from 1912 from the German Naval Observatory with stamp of the Imperial Navy, signs of use and age, dimensions of box 14 x 27 x 26 cm
