”Olympia”, Älteste Volkstedt, Rudolstadt, late 20th century, model no. V 21018, design by Kati Zorn, from the series ”Hoffmann’s Tales”, marionette, with key to wind up on the back bows, polychrome painted and ornamentally gilded, h. 19.5 cm, Kati Zorn, born 1962, trained as a porcelain designer at the Lichte training center and at the Meissen State Porcelain Manufactory. 1982-1999 employed at the ”Oldest Volkstedt Porcelain Manufactory”. 1986 Worked under the direction of Peter Strang in Meissen. Since 2000 self-employed as a porcelain sculptor in Cursdorf, Thuringia.
