An oval dish from the service ”Feuilles de choux”, Sevres, mark 1770, painter’s mark for Raux, flower painter in Sevres 1766-1779, shape ”Asiette a palmes” (palm frond plate), polychrome flower painting in blue reserves, ornamental gilding, minimal firing marks, slight signs of wear, l. 31 cm, This dish served as a model for the large banqueting service for the Peterhof Palace in St. Petersburg, made by the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory of St. Petersburg.
