A gantry clock, ebonized wood, 2nd half 19th century, with stone and brass inlays, one strip missing on the right side of the head, twisted columns with brass thread inlays, gilded bases and capitals, gilded bezel in front of a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, hairline cracks at 1 o’clock, blued hands, rusty pendulum, French round movement with solid hook movement, black enamel, black enamel, black enamel, black enamel, black enamel.
