French infantry sabre Briquet, circa 1800, blade slightly curved, single-edged, pitted. Hilt solid brass. Total length 80 cm. Comes with a sabre blade of indeterminate length (rust pitted) and a straight, double-edged blade, ground. Brass inlay at the beginning of the blade on both sides, formerly with writing, partially missing. Interesting piece. L. up to 79 cm
