Empire figural pendulum, fire-gilt bronze, 1st half 19th century, scholar with book seated at the clock base, the base decorated with garlands, set on foliage, guilloché dial with residual gilding, blued Breguet hands, French round movement with 1/2 hour disc strike. Round movement with 1/2 hour disc striking mechanism on bell, thread suspension is broken, pendulum missing, 41 x 31 x 11 cm
