Germain Pilon (ca. 1525-1590) and Domenico del Barbieri (ca.1506-ca.1570), after, replica of the tomb with the heart of Henry II, King of France (1519-59). The original monument, which depicted the Three Graces with an urn containing the king’s heart, was created in 1559 and is now in the Louvre. Here a 19th century replica, made of patinated bronze, loose on a three-sided stand made of gilded bronze, unsigned, without urn, inscribed ”Réduction mecanique”, patina rubbed, overall height 94 cm
