Gold transverse flute by the maker Gerhard Sachs, Germany, c. 2000, 14-carat gold tube, soldered chimneys and mechanism of silver elements, ring keys, B foot, open G sharp, scale with a 442 Hz. Marked ”14K” and ”Gerhard Sachs Sonnenbühl No 40”. Silver mechanism marked ”.935”. In original case with matching cleaning rod. Gerhard Sachs was a flautist in the Württemberg Philharmonic Orchestra. He made silver and gold flutes which are known for their precise workmanship. The flute has been completely overhauled. Total l. 71 cm. Approx. 480 g. Box 43 x 9,5 x 5 cm
