A rare Art Déco opal and diamond brooch, platinum, unmarked, tested, with an excellent octagonal opal cabochon, approx. 6.50 ct, white body with pronounced reddish-greenish-blue opalescence, 15.2 x 12.8 mm, 28 old-cut diamonds, 148 octagonal diamonds and 28 diamond roses, in total 8.06 ct fine white – slightly tinted white (G-J) / VVS-SI, l. 58 mm, goldsmith’s work, 27.78 g, with valuation certificate 2024 for 23,690 euros
