Ernst Liebermann (1869-1960), German painter a. graphic artist, studied under Scheurenberg at the Berlin Academy, worked for the ‘Jugend’, was a member of the Munich Luitpoldgruppe and in 1944 he was included in the so-called ‘Gottbegnadeten-Liste’, Portrait of an old gentleman, oil on canvas, signed lower right, relined, restored and retouched, 70 x 60 cm, framed 83 x 73 cm
