Plate, Copeland, Stoke-on Trent, late 19th century, the rim with cameo portraits and medallions with antique mythological scenes between tendrils on a blue celeste ground, framed by flower garlands, the mirror with fine polychrome painting of fruits and flower bouquet, Ø 24 cm Created as a copy after the imperial service, which was made in Sevres around 1779 and presented to Empress Catherine the Great, it stood in the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg until the fire in 1837
