Louis XVI portal clock, alabaster bronze, German c. 1800, architectural design, crowned by a lady with a bird, decorated with gilded ornamental ornaments, vine leaves and urn vases, guilloché, gilded dial with white enamel dial ring, blued hands, dial chipped at 9 o’clock, domed glass in gilt glass rim, movement with 4/4 strike on gongs and repeater, pendulum with gilt female head, movement not attached and untested, h. 59cm, w. 39cm, d. 17cm
