Sabre, circa 1900, in the style of a Prussian officer’s sabre, but with oriental decoration. Probably made for the Iranian royal family, brass hilt with engraved floral ornamentation, blade with triple fullers on both sides, engraved Arabic characters, leather scabbard with brass mountings. Locating band with embossed decoration. rubbed, total length. 106 cm
