Figural inkwell, England around 1900, bronze. Hinged mushroom, porcelain inkwell in the body. Behind the mushroom two mischievous goblins, on the base plate beetles, worms, acorns etc. and inscription ”Dartmoor-Pixie”. Pixies are small mythical creatures in English folklore, similar to leprechauns and fairies. Approx. 11.5 x 8 x 7 cm
