Paul Barz (1908-1965), German artist from West Prussia, studied at the academy in Breslau and at the Staatliche Kunstschule in Berlin, in 1937 he became lecturer for fine arts at the University of Greifswald, in 1951 he moved to Herchen/Sieg and became professor in Münster in 1960. ”Abend an der Eckernförder Bucht”, watercolor on paper, signed and dated 1946 lower left, titled on the mount, 34 x 49 cm, framed behind glass and mount 53 x 66 cm
