Wall plate, Heidi Menthey for HB-Werkstätten, Marwitz. 1990s, ceramic, glazed light green, painted black, In the mirror dog, in the flag insects, Ø 26 cm, Heidi Manthey, born 1929 in Leipzig, 1946-49 studied painting and graphic arts in Leipzig with Walther Münze and Max Schwimmer. 1949-52 studied ceramics in Halle/ Burg Giebichenstein. After 1956 collaboration with Hedwig Bollhagen in Marwitz. Teaching assignments at the Berlin-Weißensee Art Academy from 1975-80 and at Burg Giebichenstein from 1980-97.
