Dora Bromberger (1871-1943), Bremen painter who studied in Munich and Paris, but returned to her homeland in 1923. On her escape to Minsk she was murdered by the Nazis in 1943. Still life with flowers and apple, watercolor and pen on paper, signed lower left ”Brom”, on the backing board sgn. ”Bromberger”, 24 x 32 cm, framed behind glass 33 x 42 cm.
