Two ceremonial vases in Vienna manner, around 1900, beehive mark, urn-shaped with upturned volute handles, on round base and square pedestal, domed lid with lid knob in the shape of an acanthus bud, all around the vases and in medallions on the pedestal fine polychrome painting with mythological scenes, on one vase, allegory of the Four Seasons, the goddesses Flora as Spring, Ceres as Summer and Winter, God Dionysus as autumn, on the side sits the winged Chronos playing the lyre, on the left side of flower garland decorated stele with Janus head, portrait of a goddess and a god, after Poussin, on the other side bound Cupid in distress, after Caroline Lauska, on the other vase, Apollo and the Muses on Parnassus, and the Sacrifice of Iphigenia, after Old Master paintings, cobalt blue background, splendid ornamental gilding, overall h. 45 cm
