Polyphon (perforated music box), Germany, late 19th century, rectangular body made of walnut with hinged lid. The lid has a contemporary illustration in black and white with children playing music. One of the mouldings on the lid is missing. Double comb complete, original crank present, function tested, lock without key. Lightly rubbed & bumped Comes with 20 matching perforated playing plates (D. 40 cm). Dimensions polyphon 30 x 48 x 54 cm.
