Art Nouveau jardiniere, Germany circa 1900, pewter casting, cobalt glass. Fitted curved and openwork body with large butterflies and vines with berries on 4 feet. Handles developed from the body on the narrow sides as flowers and long curved leaves. One of the foot cartouches with a dedication as engraving. Matching cobalt glass insert with curved rim (damaged in one place), 19 x 41 x 20 cm.
