Writing set, end of 19th c. Rectangular plate of black marble with white veining on 4 flat feet with recess for storage of writing utensils. In the center a bronze of Old Fritz sitting on a piece of tree trunk, left arm resting on a stick flanked by a pair of inkwells with hinged lids and glass inserts. Matching quenching cradle. Minimally bumped, 23 x 50 x 30 cm.
