Set of nine chairs circa 1870 from the stock of the old Schützenhaus in Leipzig with prominent imperial history, solid oak, on the occasion of the Kaiserfesttage 1876 Kaiser Wilhelm I was a guest of the Saxon royal couple Albert and Carola in Leipzig and dined after the grand parade in the old Schützenhof, from which these chairs come: three of them, on which the three highnesses sat, are carved with the names Queen Carola, King Albert and Kaiser Wilhelm with the date 6.9. 1876, old restorations/restorations, 119 x 37 x 50 cm.
