Sohl, Will. 1906 Ludwigshafen – 1969 Heidelbergänzt Syltansichten. 17 lithographs/paper, each signed Will Sohl on the lower right, once on the lower left numbered 9/30 and 17/30 respectively, sheets each 26 x 41 cm, unframed.- Sohl studied among others at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and was a master student of Heinrich Nauen (1880-1940). In 1935 Sohl was on Sylt for the first time and was thrilled by the landscape and the sea: “I owe all my work to this island; it is as if created for me.
