Kurt Edzard (1890-1972), Bremen sculptor, studied at the Academy of Karlsruhe with Hermann Volz and Wilhelm Gerstel, after Paris, Bremen and London he worked from 1938 in Berlin, after the war he received a chair in Braunschweig. ”Schmale Sitzende”, sitting female nude, pencil drawing on cream paper, monogrammed ”K.E.” at lower right, titled at lower left, marginal tear at top, sheet dimensions 40 x 29 cm.
