Ernst Hassebrauk (1905-1974), two etchings by the painter and graphic artist from Dresden. He studied there and in Leipzig, where he became a master student of Willi Geiger. Under the Nazis he was banned from exhibiting. In 1947 he was appointed professor. Among his students was Werner Tübke. ”Deposed Figures (Großsedlitz Palace Park)” and ”Five Women with Elisabeth Voigt”, the former signed by the artist at lower right, the latter signed by his widow at lower right, one behind passe-partout Dimensions 45 x 65 cm.
