Walter Kostka (1884-1970), Berlin architect, designer and painter. Initially active primarily as an architect, he worked for Bruno Paul as well as the first architect in the Royal Palace Building Commission under Oberhofbaurat Geyer. For Osram he designed some lamps. After World War 2, he devoted more time to painting. Three original works on paper: Still life with mask and jug, gouache on paper, and two abstracted faces in charcoal on paper, each monogrammed, framed behind glass u. Passepartout to 54 x 42 cm.
