Erich Thum (1886-1952), i.e. Elfriede Luzie Thum, German painter, studied at the University of Lausanne from 1905 and then went to Dresden to study under Charles Johann Palmié. As she had few opportunities to exhibit as a woman, she often signed her work ”Erich” Thum.
